The First Week of Keeping Promises to Myself ✨

I started the year strong.. and honestly, it feels good to say that without jinxing it.

Here’s what I’ve been up to:

  1. Waking up at 5am. It’s been 4 days now.. I know, not a huge streak, but it’s a start. Mornings feel different when you’re not rushing.
  2. Signed up for Yoga Studio. Health, fitness, mindfulness.. all the good stuff. Again, 4 days in, and I’m showing up. That’s what matters.
  3. Cooking at home as much as possible. We’ve ordered out maybe a couple of times, but otherwise, we’ve been cooking ourselves. Saves money, tastes better, feels healthier.
  4. Helping out with chores at home. Small stuff, but it adds up. Plus, it’s just the right thing to do.
  5. Reading 2 pages a day. I was reading randomly till today, but now I’ve picked up a book and I’m sticking with it.. Do It Today by Darius Foroux. About 20 pages in, and it’s interesting. Light content, real-life examples from his own journey. I’m taking notes too, and I plan to share those here soon under a different category.. basically, notes from all the books and articles I read.

The BuJo Comeback 📔

Bujo update – I re-started it about a week ago, and I’ve been surprisingly productive. There’s this weird sense of achievement when you put that tick mark and write “Done” beside a task. Works well for me, honestly.

    Oh, and one more thing.. I’m in talks with my line manager to change teams. I wanna get rid of Klaus (you know the drill by now), so hopefully it happens soon 🤞

    I spoke to the new team lead, and they seem to value innovation, ideas, learning new things, AI.. and most importantly, WLB (work-life balance). That’s huge for me right now. I wanna build a business, learn to play the piano, explore my hobbies, travel.. all of that. And I can’t do any of it if work is eating up my entire day.

    I’m nearing 30, and I feel like I should have different experiences in my life.. get a fresh and clear perspective, and progress in my career with full nitro boosters. So yeah, pray for me! New team! God, please! 🙏

    The Bigger Picture 🌟

    Sometimes it’s not about making massive changes overnight.. it’s about waking up every day and choosing to do the small things that build the life you actually want. Showing up is half the battle. The other half? Staying consistent long enough to see it pay off 💫
