I started the year strong.. and honestly, it feels good to say that without jinxing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here’s what I’ve been up to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Waking up at 5am.<\/strong> It’s been 4 days now.. I know, not a huge streak, but it’s a start. Mornings feel different when you’re not rushing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Signed up for Yoga Studio.<\/strong> Health, fitness, mindfulness.. all the good stuff. Again, 4 days in, and I’m showing up. That’s what matters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Cooking at home as much as possible.<\/strong> We’ve ordered out maybe a couple of times, but otherwise, we’ve been cooking ourselves. Saves money, tastes better, feels healthier.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Helping out with chores at home.<\/strong> Small stuff, but it adds up. Plus, it’s just the right thing to do.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Reading 2 pages a day.<\/strong> I was reading randomly till today, but now I’ve picked up a book and I’m sticking with it.. Do It Today<\/em> by Darius Foroux. About 20 pages in, and it’s interesting. Light content, real-life examples from his own journey. I’m taking notes too, and I plan to share those here soon under a different category.. basically, notes from all the books and articles I read.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The BuJo Comeback \ud83d\udcd4<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Bujo update<\/span><\/strong> – I re-started it about a week ago, and I’ve been surprisingly productive. There’s this weird sense of achievement when you put that tick mark and write “Done” beside a task. Works well for me, honestly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Hopefully, a New Team Soon \ud83e\udd1e<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Oh, and one more thing.. I’m in talks with my line manager to change teams. I wanna get rid of Klaus (you know the drill by now), so hopefully it happens soon \ud83e\udd1e<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      I spoke to the new team lead, and they seem to value innovation, ideas, learning new things, AI.. and most importantly, WLB<\/strong> (work-life balance). That’s huge for me right now. I wanna build a business, learn to play the piano, explore my hobbies, travel.. all of that. And I can’t do any of it if work is eating up my entire day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      I’m nearing 30, and I feel like I should have different experiences in my life.. get a fresh and clear perspective, and progress in my career with full nitro boosters. So yeah, pray for me! New team! God, please! \ud83d\ude4f<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The Bigger Picture \ud83c\udf1f<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Sometimes it’s not about making massive changes overnight.. it’s about waking up every day and choosing to do the small things that build the life you actually want.
